In addition to my responsibilities as an Alderman, I am:

• Chair of Governors at City of London Academy Shoreditch Park
• Chair of Governors at the new City Junior School
• a trustee of the City of London Academies Trust, responsible for ten inner London academies, and a member of the City’s Education Board
• a governor of Capel Manor College, where I chair the Audit Committee. Capel is London’s premier horticultural college, with sites across wider London in Enfield, Regents Park, Crystal Palace, Gunnersbury Park and Newham
• nominated by the City Corporation to be its representative trustee of two education foundations: United Westminster & Greycoat Foundation and Central Foundation Schools of London, which runs two voluntary-aided comprehensive secondary schools – one for boys in Old Street and one for girls in Bow
• President and Past Master of the Lime Street & Cornhill Ward Club, a social club formed in 1946 for people who work in the City, live in the City or who have connections in the City.
